Christopher Weiler

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Weiler co-founded LDiscovery in 2005, which acquired Kroll Ontrack in 2016. Since its inception, LDiscovery has emerged as one of the top eDiscovery vendors in the United States. LDiscovery has been recognised by Socha-Gelbman, INC 5000, Deloitte 500, and has repeatedly earned kCura’s Orange-level Relativity Best in Service designation. Mr. Weiler also received Ernst & Young’s Washington, DC entrepreneur of the year award in 2014.

Prior to co-founding LDiscovery, Mr. Weiler co-founded and built On-Site Sourcing into a $40 million litigation support and electronic discovery services company, named in a survey of the American Lawyer top 100 law firms as one of the top five imaging and coding services companies and one of the ten best electronic discovery firms in the United States.

Mr. Weiler graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1985 and served in the United States Navy as a surface warfare officer and as a Navy Senate Liaison Officer in Washington, D.C. from 1985 until September 1991. He also worked for Pitney Bowes Management Services as a manager from September 1991 through December 1992.

As a former 1st team Washington Post All Met Receiver, MVP of Navy’s 1984 football team, and the father to three college athletes, Mr. Weiler has devoted the majority of his free time over the past fifteen years to coaching young men in youth basketball and high school football. Since 1997, Mr. Weiler has been the head or assistant coach to AAU, county and CYO basketball teams, and two high school football teams in Northern Virginia.

Joining the Lake Braddock Secondary School Staff in 2004 as the offensive coordinator, Mr. Weiler helped engineer the greatest turnaround in Virginia, Maryland and DC history from 2004 to 2005, win five district championships, two straight Northern Region titles, and a trip to the Virginia state final in 2009. Mr. Weiler also personally donated $200k for the building of two field turf fields at the school.

Mark R. Williams

President and Chief Operating Officer

Mark Williams leads the strategic vision of Kroll Ontrack and is accountable for advancing and growing the company’s business lines through continued investment in technology innovation and service excellence. Williams is an innovator in the legal industry, drawing on his experience as both a lawyer and founder of a legal outsourcing company that challenged traditional models for the delivery of legal services. With more than 20 years of experience, Williams has a strong track record as a strategic business partner, lawyer, and senior executive, having navigated corporate business environments around the globe.

Formerly, Williams was a managing director with Huron Legal, where he led the Discovery Group and was instrumental in integrating business practices to enhance capabilities and improve synergies across business units. Before joining Huron, Williams was a senior vice president with Axiom Global, where he led the Managed Discovery Business with operations in the United States, Belfast and India. Williams was previously a corporate and finance partner with DLA Piper for almost 17 years where he was a key leader in the firm’s international expansion into Asia and the Middle East; he spent four years in China and served as managing partner in Beijing, and opened the firm’s office in Doha, Qatar.

Williams holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law, an MBA from the University of Maryland/Beijing University for International Business & Economics, a MSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois. He earned a Project Management Certification from DePaul University and completed the DLA Piper Harvard Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

Tim Phillips

Managing Director, Legal Technologies, EMEA

Tim Phillips, Managing Director, has overall responsibility for operations and business development for Legal Technologies throughout EMEA. At Kroll Ontrack's London office, Tim manages a team of over 100 people specialising in electronic and paper disclosure and computer forensics. Tim also has responsibility for Kroll Ontrack's computer forensics teams in Germany, France, Norway, Sweden and Poland.

Tim has a portfolio of achievements with over 25 years of business development experience in the IT and telecommunications industries. He previously worked as Vice President of Business Development Director for various telecom companies, where he built global sales teams in Europe and the US.

Andrew Szczech

Director of Legal Technologies Services, EMEA

Andrew is responsible for the growth and delivery of Kroll Ontrack's legal technologies business in the EMEA region. Our services focus on the provision of electronic evidence services to law firms and corporates. These services include e-discovery, computer forensics and consulting which are provided in order to assist clients in multiple practice areas including dispute resolution and antitrust. Frequently, there is a need for solutions to address complex cross border data protection challenges. Andrew also manages the growth and development of global accounts throughout the EMEA region.

The experts working in Andrew’s team are responsible for business development, account management, consultancy and case management for the all the services we provide to our clients.

Andrew has worked in IT for over 20 years, both in-house and for solution providers. His main focus has always been to ensure clients are able to maximise the use of technology within their organisations.

Phil Bridge

Managing Director, Western Europe, Data & Storage Technologies

Phil has been at the helm of UK activity for the world's foremost data recovery company since 2006. He has been with Kroll Ontrack for over eighteen years, moving from sales to global channel manager to business development manager to managing director. This has led to Phil having an extremely well rounded view of the company and an in-depth knowledge of the industry.

In addition to leading the UK business, Phil manages operations in France, Belgium, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.

Phil has insight into all areas of the Data & Storage Technologies business and can offer an expert opinion and insight into:
