I work in the Clean Room as a senior engineer.

I joined the company over 8 years ago.
What is your most unusual/challenging/interesting recovery to date?
The most challenging recoveries are the ones with multiple failures. Most of the times it’s the case when customer is testing their DIY skills.
What new skills & technology are you currently learning about?
I try to keep myself busy all the times. Currently I’m expanding my knowledge on phone and SSD advanced repair techniques. Programming and using Linux operating system more often is on my to do list as well.
What are you working on at the moment?
At the moment I’m working on 3 phones, 4 SSD drives, 12 normal hard drives and a windows tablet.
What type of mobile phone do you have?
The best one currently available on the market. The Nexus 5. (no, not the iPhone).
How do you relax after work/on weekends?
Car fixing, video and photo editing, random meal cooking are only few of my out of work projects. I also enjoy exploring the wonders of Google services and of course spending some quality time with my awesome kids!
If you weren’t a data recovery engineer, what would your ideal career be & why?
I would work in technology industry for sure.
What is your top tip for data recovery?
Do not attempt DIY data recovery.
