Most backup users in the UK rely on more than one hardware or software product to keep their data protected against threats like drive failure and accidental deletion, a new survey has found.
According to Macrium, which polled 500 backup product users, fewer than half (49 per cent) of Britons use a single solution to create and store secure copies of their data, Computer Weekly reports.
Meanwhile, a third (33 per cent) have two backup products in use, while the remainder juggle three or more different solutions at once.
Asked to describe their biggest headaches when backing up, a fifth (22 per cent) called the process time-consuming and 17 per cent cited uncertainty over whether or not a given backup would be successful.
This indicates that even with upwards of two solutions in use, effective data recovery services may still be critical to some backup customers.
It is wise to choose a data recovery company who has a track record in recovering from the type of data loss you have experienced.
