Businesses operating cloud IT infrastructure need to be aware of the level of security that their critical files currently receive.
A new infographic has been published by Business2Community highlighting the considerable growth in cloud computing that has been witnessed in recent years, while also pointing out the considerable number of firms that operate these systems but may not be doing so in the most secure manner.
According to a survey carried out by the publisher, 52 per cent of IT managers asked to give their views on the use of cloud services stated their belief that their company faces a threat through inadequate security investment and understanding in this area.
Meanwhile, the most common threats likely to lead to the need for extensive data recovery services that were highlighted by the group included viruses, Trojans, attacks from other companies’ networks, terrorist threats and bugs within the system itself.
