Ben Allen
President
Ben Allen, President, Kroll Ontrack Inc., heads up the Technology Services Group of Kroll Inc., providing leadership to more than 600 employees who work to produce more than $100M in revenue through the sale of legal technology and data recovery software and services worldwide.
As President, Mr Allen has been instrumental in expanding Kroll Ontrack’s global presence through its operation of 13 offices and five service labs strategically located around the world.
Mr Allen is credited with growing Kroll’s Technology Services Group both organically and through acquisitions, most recently with the strategic acquisition of Quorum Litigation Services, which gives Kroll Ontrack clients access to both its cutting-edge electronic discovery solutions and Quorum’s expertise in the handling of paper-based discovery documents.
Prior to Kroll’s acquisition of ONTRACK, Mr Allen served as President and CEO of ONTRACK Data International, Inc. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Ben served in several other roles for the company. As Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for all day-to-day operations in the areas of sales, marketing, and all product lines. As General Manager of the UK and France offices, Mr Allen was instrumental in their growth and success. From 1999 to 2000, under Mr Allen’s management, the offices grew by 50 percent in revenue and by 100 percent in operating profit growth. Allen began his career at ONTRACK as a marketing manager, where he helped launch ONTRACK’s first Web site.
Mr Allen earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Washington State University.
Martin Carey
Managing Director
UK Legal Technologies Product Line
Mr Carey joined Legal Technologies Ltd (now Kroll Ontrack) in 1999, having had over 20 years experience in IT, specifically in the management and implementation of large workflow and document management systems. As Operations Director of Legal Technologies Ltd (then Oyez Legal Technologies), Martin made significant technical enhancements to the processing systems and developed project management practices.
In July 2004 Martin was made Managing Director of Kroll Ontrack’s Legal Technologies Product Line in the UK.
Andrea S. Eidsness
Vice President, Marketing
Andrea Eidsness joined the company in March of 2000 and currently serves as Kroll Ontrack’s vice president of marketing. In this role, Eidsness is responsible for the development and maintenance of its marketing and differentiation strategy for all products and services, company and product brand management, and Web site sales and operations.
Eidsness is an experienced communications and marketing professional with extensive knowledge of the high-tech industry. Prior to joining Kroll Ontrack, she worked as the vice president of marketing for Webhelp.com and vice president of marketing for Eliance Corporation. She also has worked in the public relations, telecommunications and medical fields. Previously, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Camp Menogyn Branch of the YMCA.
Ms Eidsness has a master's degree in communication from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in English and speech communication from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.
