The consortium assembled a range of technologies that, in terms of scale and scope, had not been implemented in any other courtroom in the world at that time and set new global standards in the use of IT and services for the improvement of the process and quality of justice.The solution provide to the Inquiry was necessary for the Inquiry to: - Materially assist with the detailed investigation of the events in Londonderry that took place nearly 30 years ago
- Help witnesses make reliable testimony relating to those events
- Ensure that the proceedings were open and fully accessible to a wide public audience
- Help improve the efficiency, reduce the length of the Inquiry and the overall cost
Kroll Ontrack provided strategic consultancy and an Integrated Exhibit Display System to the Inquiry. The latter was to enable touch sensitive screens to display digitised evidence including scanned documents, virtual reality screenshots and digital video and sound.
