The judge overseeing the Apple vs Samsung patent dispute is "livid" about the release of information she had ruled inadmissible in court.
Earlier this week, Samsung's PR agency published a presentation which it claimed proved "beyond doubt that Samsung did not copy the iPhone design" and included quotes from Shin Nishibori, Apple's design inventor.
The document was relating to a device Samsung designed in 2006, but the court saw that Apple had created a prototype called Purple back in 2005.
For this reason, and because the documents were presented too late in the legal process, the judge ruled the evidence as inadmissible.
Apple have called the release of the document an attempt to "pollute the jury" in the case.
It relates to the alleged copying of Apple's iPhone design by Samsung with a number of its handsets, including the F700 model.
Samsung's legal team has now been approached to see if they knew about the PR agency's decision to publish the documents.
